(PLEASE READ!) QUICK TIPS (video commentary in a nutshell) :
-Low opacity soft brush on new layer to add colour -Always do things on new layers so you can undo mistakes -Use layer masks -Copy and past different areas and change the hue/saturation so you don't lose any detail -Don't overkill the colour, because it won't look believable -Colour dodge tool= lighten the colour/photograph -Colour burn tool= darken the colour/photograph -If you have a graphic tablet, use the pressure sensitivity. This helps immensely when blending colours.
