Events across Australia mark 100th anniversary of WWI

Commemorations for the centenary of the start of the First World War were held in Australia on Monday. Australian Prime Minister of Tony Abbott was joined by dignitaries at the National War Memorial to officially launch the commemoration
New South Wales Sydney the premier of New South Wales Mike Baird led a commemorative service at the War Memorial in Hyde Park in Sydney while in Tasmania about 200 people attended a dawn service in the small town of Ulverstone.
