Traces of Hanyang
Discover what Seoul was like centuries ago during the Joseon Dynasty. "Traces of Hanyang" (the old name for Seoul) brings together paintings, portraits, and priceless belongings of the royal families. Works by distinguished artists, such as Jeong Seon, Kim Hong-do, and Jang Shi-heung, are on view including the never-before-made-public painting Eight Scenes of Jangdong in Seoul by Jeong Seon.
漢陽留痕(한양유흔)-한양이 남긴 흔적
조선시대, 서울은 어떤 모습을 하고 있었을까.
한양유흔은 ‘한양이 남긴 흔적’이라는 뜻으로 조선의 사상과 흐름은 물론 조선시대 한양의 일상 풍경, 왕실회화, 궁궐유물이 전시된다. 조선시대 명성을 떨친 문인화가와 궁의 도화서를 이끈 정선, 김흥도와 같은 유명 화원들의 작품을 만날 수 있다. 특히 인왕산, 백악산의 전경을 담은 겸재 정선의 "장동팔경"은 이번 전시에서 최초 공개된다.
또, 고려대학교 박물관에 소장되어 있는 100여 점의 작품을 만날 수 있다.
Fine Art에서는 조선시대 작가들의 작품을 통해 당시 한양의 모습과 생활상을 소개한다. 또, 왕이 사용했던 병풍, 대사례도 등을 통해 조선 왕실의 문화를 만나본다.
