I Love You
Noh Ju-hwan is a sculptor that creates a new world of aesthetic beauty through the medium of type printings. His appreciation of Korea's cutting-edge, artistic printing culture, chiefly the Tripitaka Koreana, the complete collection of Buddhist scriptures carved on over eighty thousand woodblocks, led him to revive our ancestors' wisdom through his artworks. With the type printings that he personally collected from different print houses that were closing down, he didn't only carry on the legacy of type printings, which has become a fading product of history, but also conveyed the sorrow of the people working at the print houses. Thanks to his effort, the relics the past are put back into the spotlight once again.

Aesthetics of Fusion
'AYAF' is the abbreviation for the ARKO Young Art Frontier, which acts as an incubator for discovering and developing new, skillful artists. At the 2014 AYAF Festival, cellist Kim Si-nae and Gayageumnist Lee Seul-gi showcased “Aesthetics of Fusion”. The first part of the concert was comprised of the collaboration of the cello and video art, while the second part was made up of the cello and Gayageum. These two highly talented musicians, Kim Si-nae and Lee Seul-gi, spiced up classical music, which is often considered difficult and boring, by giving a popular touch to it, and also demonstrated the limitless potential of Gugak.
