A restaurant in Beijing took a radical and super-creative approach to getting attention. Young women were spotted on the public sidewalk outside pulling along crabs.

The females were all dressed alike in skimpy denim shorts, platform heels and white cutoff tops. They alone attract quite a bit of attention, but what accompanies them really gets a lot of double takes.

The women hold skinny leashes and at the end of each restraint is a crab that's crawling around on the ground. The females were also wearing pirate hats, making it pretty clear the whole thing was a promotional stunt to attract diners to a restaurant called The Pirate King.

The eatery of course, specializes in seafood.

The restaurant’s manager, Peng Mai commented “It was a lot of fun, and now everybody knows our name, and I don't care about the few people that complained that the crabs were suffering.”

Mai made it clear the crabs didn’t suffer long as they were soon brought inside, cleaned and cooked for diners. What do you think of the stunt?
