After a painting on loan from a local artist was stolen, a bar in Flagstaff, Arizona took to social media to get it back.

The owner of the establishment published a picture taken by a surveillance camera that shows the thief stuffing it into his bag while his two accomplices sit and stand idly by.

Since then it’s gotten quite a bit of attention, garnering thousands of comments and likes, as well as over 8 thousand shares.

The move shamed the two accomplices into paying 500 dollars to the artist, but the individual who did the actual stealing has yet to come forward.

According to the two who did fess up, he’s no longer in possession of the painting, anyway.

Shortly after it was stolen from the bar, it was spotted near a tree.

One person reported seeing it near the Coconino County Courthouse, but it’s since disappeared.

Until the painting is returned to its original spot, the bar owner is displaying the incriminating surveillance shot in its place.
