RNLI Criccieth Lifeboat's participation in the multi-agency exercise "Gimblet", together with RNLI lifeboat's from Abersoch and Pwllheli, the RAF's search and rescue helicopter Rescue 122 from Valley, and the coast-guards shore based teams from Abersoch and Criccieth.
Criccieth lifeboat was tasked with searching for two missing persons in the water, to affect the rescue of any casualties found and to administer first aid before evacuating them. Abersoch lifeboat was searching alongside Criccieth lifeboat.
