00:10:47This project was a result of Roland's obsession with sex.
00:10:51I don't know why. He had never been very good at it.
00:10:55Probably due to his medication problems, side effects.
00:11:01But he's definitely an exhibitionist.
00:11:05I remember one time he wanted to go to the sex club.
00:11:09You know, when people have sex publicly.
00:11:12I wasn't very excited about this, but since I would do anything Roland wanted me to do, I went.
00:11:20Then he wanted to find a couple with whom we could do some erotic projects.
00:11:26Roland was bisexual, so he had some needs, I guess.
00:11:31We never had any interaction with this couple physically.
00:11:35But we planned to shoot some films, erotic films.
00:11:40They saw my visual poetry.
00:11:44This is it.
00:11:55I make a beautiful dress, I put it on and I feel naked.
00:11:59I fall in love, get married and I feel more lonely than ever.

00:12:09I say a word of truth and I feel lonely, homeless and naked.
00:12:18This couple wanted me to write erotic poems so we could shoot them.
00:12:22That's how Autumn came to fruition.
00:12:29It wasn't shot during our first fall with Roland.
00:12:33During our first fall we were hiking and going to the drop-off zones.
00:12:39Roland has a parachute and he liked to jump off the plane.
00:12:44We even went to Florida, but it became too cold here.

00:27:27We went to the Himalayas to trek to the base camp of Mount Everest.
00:27:33It was difficult, exciting, strenuous, and very binding.
00:27:49After that, Roland bought an apartment on the Lower East Side and we moved in together.
00:27:55It took me over a month to paint this apartment.
00:27:57It wasn't painted for about 25 years, and I was working very hard to make it home, but it never felt it.
00:28:09That summer, we went together to Burning Man.
