The airlines’ redesigned Airbus A380’s will have a cabin referred to as 'The Residence by Etihad'. One or two passengers travelling together can relax in the three-room VIP suite which includes a double bedroom, shower and living room.
Since the announcement of the luxurious cabins was released, Schlappig decided to take to Kickstarter to raise funds so he can tell everyone about the experience.
He believes the accommodations will ‘revolutionize commercial air travel’. Given that only one cabin is available per flight, he thinks it will be a long time before an in depth, unbiased review is written about it.
Schlappig admits people do have better things to spend their money on. He even asked Netizens to donate to charity over his own campaign, but he still hopes people will deem his cause as a worthy form of entertainment.
He’s looking to raise $25,000 to make the upscale air travel experience and subsequent unbiased review a reality.
