THE INTERVIEW - Aaron Y. Zelin, Richard Borow Fellow, The Washington Institute

According to the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation at King's College London, Syria is the most powerful magnet for international jihad since Afghanistan in the 1980s. Our guest is a researcher at that Centre, as well as being a fellow at the Washington Institute in the US.
Aaron Zelin explains the attraction of Syria to European and other jihadists. He also outlines how Western governments might better prevent young Muslims from going there to fight against the Assad regime.
