Two tiny kittens are amazingly still alive after they were shipped from Hollywood to Chula Vista. Cox Communications staffer, JC Collins and his co-workers are responsible for finding the kittens.

Collins had been at work when his co-worker opened up the box, believing it was just a typical shipment. The box contained fiberglass equipment and the two newborn cats were stashed among the contents.

Collins was shocked they survived the journey and saw that they were clinging to life, so he immediately contacted his nephew who works for the San Diego Humane Society.

Investigators soon took the kittens, now named Mouse and Wifi, in. A nurse at the San Diego Humane Society, Jenny Bonomini, said the pair arrived at the facility with their umbilical cords still attached, proving how young they are.

She suspects the mother of the kittens chose the box as a safe spot to give birth, then left the babies. Somehow, they were missed during the packaging process and shipped to Cox Communications.

Now, Mouse and Wifi will be receiving around-the-clock care until they’re ready to go to a foster home before they’ll be put up for adoption.
