"I want a f***ing awesome sandwich."
So when anticipating diners announce where they want to go to eat, they get to shout out that expletive for all to hear. Christian Ingber is the owner of the restaurant and he says he often heard curse words used in a positive manner while living in New York.
The name choice certainly gets the point across that the sandwiches are nothing short of awesome. Ingber is happy with the title and commented “It's not the F word in a negative context. It could be a question of humor, we thought it was a fun name. My seven-year-old daughter is not allowed to swear, but she knows how to use 'f****ng' in the right context.”
A promotional video for the subs depict the star ingredients as tender meat and fresh veggies stuffed into a huge, sliced piece of bread. Tidbits from the remainder of the clip show both adults and young children telling the camera they want ‘A F****ng Awesome Sandwich’.
