Çalıkuşu is a tv series which is adopted from the original book of Reşat Nuri Gültekin. First this series are broadcasted in 1986 and later, in 2013, it is re-adapted by a popular tv channel.

Esin Engin (RIP) had education both in classical music and Turkish Art Music. And this song is composed by him on 1986.
