I apologize for the delay. Real life is against me everytime I try to focus on something I really want to do. Anyway, after 3 days, blackheart is finally here! :D *Claps enthusiastically*
If you don't understand the plot, read below:
PLOT:
Nick Davenport is a detective known for his immaculate reputation and for his bravery. He lives a common life, all devoted to his job and to his daughter Cyntia (to whom he's deeply close, after the murder of his wife and his son ten years before). Whoever thinks Nick lives a life without issues is absolutely wrong: behind the mask of the cold-hearted man, lies an obsessed guy uncapable of leave the past behind, and tormented by remorses. The loss of his beloved wife and child gets unbearable as time passes, and pushes Nick down a spyral ruled by alcohol, drug and self destruction. Worst thing of all, the man who caused all this kidnaps Cyntia and asks for money as a payback. Devastated, Nick keeps going down, and he keeps beating himself (metaphorically) until he finds out who's behind the kidnap and the murders he's tried to understand for years. At that point, knowing that his daughter's survivance only depens on him, Nick makes a move and decides to meet the killer, even knowing the consequences such a meeting will have. After an evening spent drinking and chatting about past and future, finally the kidnapper takes off the mask revealing himself as one of the closest friend Nick had during high school. Memories got back, and with the mind blurred due alcohol, Nick becomes the puppet in his friend's hands: after a long, deep kiss and something more, while he lies asleep on the bed, his friend sees on Nick's wrist a long scar crossing a tattoo they made togheter when they both were members of the same gang. That made him realize he signed his daughter's death. The morning after, Nick reaches the place for the exchange. Inside his heart, he only wishes to take his daughter back alive. No matter how it will cost.
