Police in Algeria have made several arrests in the capital Algiers during demonstrations against the president’s decision to stand for a fourth term in April.
Protesters and opposition leaders believe President Abdelaziz Bouteflika is too weak to run for election.
The 77-year-old suffered a stroke last year.
