Drive through services are undoubtedly popular. With that in mind, a town in the French Riviera recently announced plans for an upcoming drive through police station.

Locals in Le Cannet will soon be able to drive straight up to the station and report a crime from the comfort of their own vehicles. The building will have the same feel as a typical fast food joint.

The only difference is that an officer will sit behind the window. Motorists will be able to pull up and interact with the cop. At night, those wishing to talk to an officer will do so via an intercom.

According to the head of security and delinquency prevention in Le Cannet, the idea for the drive through station was initially thought up with one goal - to help disabled people.

No date has been released for the opening of the station, however police are thrilled about the plans. The hope is that the convenience factor of the new building will lead to more tips and information which will in turn help to solve more crimes.
