Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of C-Rush for PC developed and published by ArtNumeris.
C-Rush (not to be confused with Crush, the wrestler) is a hyper-concentrated SHMUP experience. You've only got four stages, but within lies a heck of a challenge. This is a game tuned for the hardcore player, with acheivements for perfect runs and 100% clears, an accuracy gauge on-screen at all times, and intense action. Its primary gimmick: The ability to flop your ship 90 degrees sideways, thus increasing your vulnerable hitbox but also spreading your fire. You'll need to use and exploit both modes to survive, as the foes come fast and heavy... for a little while, at least.
