Amitabh Bachchan To Play Deepika Padukone's Father In Shoojit Sircar's Next

Deepika Padukone has earned a special spot in the coveted list of top actors after delivering four back-to-back blockbusters in the last year alone. So it does not come as a surprise when speculation about her next film has been doing the rounds these days.
According to latest reports, Deepika is speculated to be seen next in the Salman Khan starrer Bade Bhaiyya and Karan Johar's Shuddhi. However, now it seems that these films will have to wait in the beeline as director Shoojit Sircar may have succeeded in attracting Deepika's attention.
Reportedly Shoojit Sircar has approached Deepika for his next film, Piku. The film also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan and acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan. The film is apparently a character-driven father-daughter story. Reprising the roles would be Big B and Deepika respectively.
Meanwhile, the last time Deepika played Amitabh Bachchan's daughter was in the 2011 Prakash Jha directed film, Aarakshan.
Do both the superstars will again recreate the magic of their father-daughter relationship on-screen?
