App Shames People into Dropping Some Pounds

If you find being berated, yelled at, and harshly judged to be highly motivating, then a new weight loss app called Carrot Fit could be just what you’re looking for.

If you find being berated, yelled at, and harshly judged to be highly motivating, then a new weight loss app called Carrot Fit could be just what you’re looking for.

It also keeps track of the user’s progress.

Should one choose to invite the app to guide them along their weight loss journey, they begin by punching in some stats.

It asks for current weight, how tall the person is, and how much they’d ultimately like to weigh.

As long as the user continues to make progress towards that goal, they and the app will have a somewhat blissful and rewarding coexistence.

Should an occasional pound or two find its way back on, that’s when the dynamic changes.

Suddenly your weight-loss buddy will start spewing insults like, ‘smile, meatbag’ and ‘greetings, chubby human’.

She will continue to do so until the pounds start peeling off again.

Then, she may offer a few congratulatory words before its back to business as usual.

If you’re in perfect shape but still looking to be shamed daily, you can always check out the other Carrot apps, a to-do list and an alarm clock.
