Getting an ultrasound to see if your baby is healthy and what gender it’s going to be is common for expecting mothers, and now a company called 3D Babies can create a 3D printed fetus model from your ultrasound pictures.

The models are marketed with the slogan: “Imagine holding your baby before he or she is born.”

The company offers two different bodily positions for the printed fetus, and three skin tones from light to dark.

There are three different size 3D fetus models to choose from that range in price from two hundred dollars for the smallest, to six hundred dollars for the life size model that is 8 inches tall.

The fetus model comes shipped in a satin lined wooden box.

According to the company‘s website: “At 3D Babies, we create an adorable baby figurine resembling your baby's facial features and body position…This is a great way to share the excitement of your new baby with family and friends.”

3D Babies requires one to five ultrasound pictures, and the models are reportedly more accurate if there are pictures from different angles.
