Jakarta Commuters Tackle Floods

Heavy monsoon rains caused flash flooding across large swathes of Jakarta, Indonesia, on January 21. This was the second time in ten days that flooding hit the oceanside city, which is home to ten million people. Monsoon rains have reportedly killed up to seven people in accidents related to flooding and forced up to 30,000 people to evacuate their homes.
