Bird Takes Over Texas Walmart

A bird in Katy, Texas developed quite an affinity for one Walmart store.
Big chain stores, with their wide doors and plenty of food, can often be a magnet for wildlife. A bird in Katy, Texas developed a particular fondness for one Walmart store.
And a frequent customer of the store first noticed the lone grackle hanging out in the bread aisle. He managed to snap photos of the bird who was feeling right at home, nibbling on the baked goods.
Thinking it was a one time, bizarre thing, Ranell Roy shrugged it off. But he returned to the Walmart the following week. It was still there but this time it was sampling the steak section.
Roy was intrigued to say the least, especially because employees were right near the bird stocking shelves and going about their business. On his third weekly visit, Roy was stunned to see the bird yet again.
He also noticed it was putting on some serious weight. Roy previously alerted employees that the bird was right over their heads in case they somehow missed it, but the efforts to remove it seemed to drag on.
He was urged to report the grackle to the corporate office. He did just that and finally a crew came in to safely remove the bird.
