My Chinon 135mm 1:2.8 manual Pentax lens has an issue with my Canon 7D The aperture switch forces the lens to use full aperture at all times, so I removed the tab.
The removal is a relatively simple procedure but renders the lens slightly broken for older cameras, however if the lens is never going to be used in a film camera there should be no issue in doing the modification.
