YouTube has made many detrimental changes over the years, some merely annoying, others actually debilitating. But the change they made at the start of this month (November of 2013) has been the worst by far. The entire comment system has been completely broken on purpose, to the point where registered YouTube users can no longer write or even rate comments without also registering to Google Plus. Needless to say, I'm not happy about this change in the least, and this video explains the problems I have with some of my most hated changes to the site.

UPDATE (4/13/2014) - While working on another project back in February of this year, it occurred to me that I was signed up to a Google Plus account without even realizing it. Not being one to let such an account go to waste, I've decided to re-enable comments on all videos on my channel, and on my YouTube channel page as well.
