Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Droid Assault for PC developed and published by Puppy Games.
Droid Assault has a simple premise: Neutralize all the hostile droids on the floor, progress to the next. Problem is, your only point of entry into the facility is a simple, bipedal robot with no offensive capability. What you do have, though, is the ability to broadcast a virus to nearby droids to overwrite their programming and bring them over to your side, gaining access to their systems, and most importantly, their offensive capabilities. Which is good, as restorative items are few and far between and attrition will constantly drain your stock of active bots.
