Known throughout the world as the largest religious festival with origins dating well over 1000 years the Kumbh Mela is outer worldly in scale, nature of visitors, and pure visual wonder. I visited in Feb. 2010 with Ayesha and spent days trekking along the dirt paths that revealed to these western eyes moments I thought were inside a dream. This film captures some of the wonder of this incredible Indian event.
