Prince Harry expedition approaches South Pole

Prince Harry and his expedition team are expected to reach the South Pole on December 13, ending the Walking with the Wounded charity event. Three teams of wounded soldiers – from the UK, USA and Commonwealth – set off on December 1 and are all expected to reach the South Pole by December 14. Originally the team were racing for the pole but the competitive element has been suspended for safety reasons.
