Passenger ferry runs aground off Åland Islands

A ferry carrying almost 2,000 passengers ran aground off Finland’s Swedish-speaking Åland Islands on December 14, near Langnas harbour in Lumparland. No injuries were reported onboard the Viking Line ship Amorella.
