Sweet Home is a Japanese Psychological Horror Game that was originally released for the NES in 1989, and is based on a Japanese Horror movie of the same name. Developed by Capcom, it is the forerunner for the Resident Evil Franchise, however it wasn't released in North America due to the gruesome content. Sweet Home is believed to be the start of the Survival Horror gaming genre.
