One man in La Marque, Texas is now in the hospital recovering from serious injuries after he was beaten by his roommate.

47-year-old David Franey Jr. was found by police officers on December 5th. He had been left in a ditch naked and restrained.
His leg was broken below and above the knee along with his rotator cuffs. He also encountered a fractured spine from the beating. Prior to the savage attack, Franey got into an argument with his roommate and co-worker, 31-year-old James Aaron Lee, Jr.
What started the fight is unclear for the most part, but according to the victim, Lee got angry when Franey brought home a puppy from the female neighbor Lee had been trying to get a date with.
Lee allegedly waited for his roommate to get out of the shower then assaulted him. Franey claimed the suspect tried to hang him numerous times.
Lee was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and unlawful restraint.
