London shrouded in thick fog

Unusually thick fog weighed down on London and England’s southeast on Wednesday morning, December 11, reducing the visibility to less than 50 meters in places. According to local reports, dozens of flights had to be cancelled. On the upside, the haze offered some spectacular scenes such as that seen in this time lapse video shot from a high-rise in Canary Wharf, showing the top of the O2 Arena peeking out from the haze.
