Protesters try to topple Kiev's Lenin monument

Heavy clashes took place in central Kiev after pro-EU protesters gathered outside the Presidential Administration buildings near Independence Square. Up to 100,000 Ukrainians marched on Sunday, chanting “Revolution” and calling for early elections in the hope of removing President Viktor Yanukovych, who recently rejected an EU trade deal, causing political instability.
