It's a big week for the Central African Republic. Ahead of a UN Security Council vote on an international response to its crisis, extra French troops begin trying to make inroads into the deepening violence. Also, the Congolese president heads to Kampala for rebel peace talks after an East African Heads of State weekend meeting in the Ugandan capital. They have agreed on plans for a common currency.
