Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - Should I look for a new job or wait it out? - Unfortunately, we do not have the kind of management that is forthcoming or honest with their employees. We deal with a wide array of companies. We work for them so to speak. Well, we lost 2 major companies and a few others went out of business. Now another major company has went out of business, however management has not told us about it yet. We noticed we have not been getting any calls or letters about that company and their toll free number is disconnected. That company, at one point, was a major breadwinner for us. We were always told, if we loose that company, our own company would not last much longer. There is a rumor circulating (from a reliable source) that if things don't pick up quickly over the holidays, our employer could close it's doors as early as March 2010. I must admit, this is the slowest Christmas I have seen in the 6 years I have worked there! I was thinking of quitting in a few months anyway due to the poor management over the last year. I smell bankruptcy or lay-offs. What would be in my best interest at this point? Should I wait it out or move forward and look for a new job pronto? -
