Exhausted Driver Crashes into Mattress Store

On a recent Monday night, a female driver in Dallas was so tired, she fell asleep behind the wheel. As an ironic and very rare twist to the accident, she crashed into a mattress store.
Exhaustion and driving can often prove to be a dangerous mix.
On a recent Monday night, at approximately 11:30, a female driver in Dallas was so tired, she fell asleep behind the wheel.
As an ironic twist to the accident, she crashed into a mattress store. Thankfully the unidentified lady was physically uninjured, however her brand new truck took quite a beating.
The woman had reportedly just left work and was headed home after a long 13 hour shift. During the trip, she dozed off at the wheel and veered off the road. She barreled right through the outside wall of the Sleep Experts business which is located on Henderson Ave.
The female’s truck ended up fully lodged inside the shop and first responders were forced to call the electric company to have the power shut off before it could be towed out the building.
It was not immediately clear if the woman will face legal charges. It also remains unknown what the cost of the damages were, between the badly smashed up truck and wide open wall of the mattress store.
