A woman in Tennessee, 33-year-old Crystal Greer Brooks allegedly ran her boyfriend over in a fit of rage, all because the man refused to stop at McDonald’s.
A woman in Tennessee, 33-year-old Crystal Greer Brooks allegedly ran her boyfriend over in a fit of rage, all because the man refused to stop at a McDonald’s restaurant.
The whole bizarre incident started when Brooks, her boyfriend 41-year-old Santiago Hernandez and another man were all traveling in the same vehicle after they went out and had a few drinks. Brooks asked to stop for fast food and Hernandez declined, so she ordered him to pull over.
Unfortunately for him, he decided to obey that demand. When he got out, Brooks quickly jumped in the driver’s seat of the small Chevy pickup. As Hernandez walked around the front, she put the truck in gear and slammed into her boyfriend.
The first hit pushed him to the ground. However Brooks wasn’t finished with the assault; she ran over him twice while he lay helpless. Police were dispatched to the scene.
According to the police report, Hernandez had scrapes and bruises consistent with being hit by a vehicle. Brooks was quickly arrested and charged with aggravated assault, but she denied striking the father of her kids.
Instead she claimed he jumped on the hood of the truck.
