Everlast Powercore Nevatear Heavy 100 Pound Review

I purchased this bag in the 100 lb version. The bag looks nice with the black and yellowgold trimmings. However, that is where the positive talk stops. After punching the bag the first 10 minutes I felt what felt like a shock sent through my wrist and up my arm. I had on 16 oz gloves with pro Mexican style hand wraps. So I stopped punching and felt the bag and noticed the lower right hand side felt like a concrete wall. So I continued my exercise making sure to avoid this area. Afterwards, I unpacked the bag and there were four 5pound sand bags packed against the inner lining of the bag. It turns out I was punching 20 pounds of sands. I could of either broken or fractured my hand. Anyway, I decided to repack the bag the right way. The bag did great for 3 weeks ,however, shortly after all the contents settled to the bottom. Saying that the top portion is soft is an understatement. Pretty much each sport has a few merchandisersmanufacturers who are attached to that sport. When you think of the NBA Spalding comes to mind. Wilson is attached to the NFL while Majestic and Rawlings come to mind for baseball. Boxing on the other hand has had Everlast attached to it for a very long time and its undeserving. If your looking for a heavy bag check out Title, Century, and Ringside. They are more expensive but have better quality. http://vintageluxcol.com/559799
