Usually when the fire alarm goes off it is false alarm. But when you open your condo door and you see thick smoke in the corridor, you better evacuate. Luckily the Miami Beach fire department was within minutes at Lincoln Road, Miami Beach and managed to put out the fire on 10th floor. People were able to go back in, shortly after. Yet quite an adventure and nice exercise climbing the stairs.
