It's becoming easier and easier for illegal immigrants in France to get their hands on fake ID cards. Many of the bogus documents get past the police and enable undocumented workers to get jobs. Even though making and using fake ID carries a possible penalty of 5 years in prison, immigrants are still taking the risk.
