Strong Winds Cause Bus Crash In New Zealand

Heavy winds near Featherston, north of Wellington in New Zealand, forced a bus off the road and sent it crashing through a fence into a field on October 14. A tranzit authority spokesperson said the bus had been returning to Featherston after dropping passengers in Masterton adding it would have been ‘unlikely’ the bus would have been blown off the road had there been passengers in it.
