Canadian Family Accused of Living With Dead Body for Months

Residents in a neighborhood of Hamilton, Canada are left shocked and baffled after learning that a nearby-dwelling family lived with a dead body for months.

The body of 51-year-old Peter Wald was recently found inside his home located on St. Matthews Avenue. A worker from a foreclosure company was the unfortunate person who made the discovery, while trying to evict the deceased man’s family from the house.
The body was badly decomposed. The regional coroner stated "The state of the body was such that it was not a recent death."
Its believed Wald’s wife and six children knowingly lived with the corpse during that time period. The next-door neighbor of the family thinks Wald had been dead for at least four months, but the last time anyone can remember seeing him was in January of this year.
However four months ago was when things got increasingly bizarre. Wald’s family reportedly began chanting in the backyard while wearing black robes.They even painted over Wald’s van using rollers.
No charges have been filed but an investigation is underway.
