Here are the 2013 Primetime Emmy nominees for outstanding lead actor in a drama series.

Number 6 – The head man on AMC’s Breaking Bad was sure to make it as a nominee. Bryan Cranston’s role as the cancer-battling, methamphetamine producing Walter White is simply exceptional.

Number 5 – Hugh Bonneville is also on the list for his portrayal of the Earl of Grantham on the British period drama, Downton Abbey.

Number 4 – Kevin Spacey, who is known to play serious and chilling roles, made it on the nominee list. He plays Francis Underwood on the political drama House of Cards.

Number 3 – Damian Lewis, who portrays a Congressman and retired U.S. Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody could land an Emmy for his work on Homeland.

Number 2 – HBO series, The Newsroom, is a fictional, behind the scenes tale of a cable network. Will McAvoy, the anchor and managing editor of News Night, is played by the now Emmy nominee, Jeff Daniels.

Number 1 – AMC’s series Mad Men features the highly acclaimed actor and potential Emmy winner, Jon Hamm. His fictional character of Don Draper, won an award several years back for being the most influential man in the world.
