Man Arrested After Leaving Keys Behind During Bank Robbery
57-year-old Andrew Laviguer recently robbed a Wells Fargo branch located in Portland, Oregon. During the quick and hasty getaway, his keys got left inside the bank.
It’s difficult to understand what goes through the mind of a robber during an intense, high stakes robbery. One man seemingly gave into stress and left his car keys during a bank hold up.
57-year-old Andrew Laviguer recently robbed a Wells Fargo branch located in Portland, Oregon.
Laviguer soon realized his horrible mistake when he couldn’t drive away from the crime scene, so he opted to flee on foot into a nearby office building. Officers responded and quickly caught up with the suspect.
The arrest may put an end to a string of robberies targeting banks in the local areas. After law enforcement authorities conducted an investigation, the results led them to believe Laviguer was behind several other similar hold ups.
A Columbia Bank located in Portland was targeted in the middle of August. On September 4th a Sterling Savings Bank was held up in Tacoma. Only days after that robbery, two motels in Oregon were hit.
The FBI is now involved, trying to link the numerous cases to Laviguer.
