Anything with a designer label is going to cost some serious money.

One man who longed for that high end life was busted by police for using a fraudulent credit card to acquire Gucci merchandise.

In an effort to trick cops, the male suspect reportedly chewed the store receipt. Officers were dispatched to a mall after two men had tried to use fake credit cards in a Nordstrom store.

When officers arrived on scene, they found 20-year-old Fidel Ojea walking through the parking lot. He had a bag in his hand, which contained 2 Gucci hats with a retail price of $265 apiece along with a dust bag from the same luxury designer.

When questioned, Ojea said he paid for the items with cash. Police weren’t buying it and asked if they could search him. That’s when the suspect reached into his pocket and pulled out a receipt.

In an effort to hide the evidence, he put the paper in his mouth and began chewing it. He was quickly taken to the ground and arrested.

The other man accused of using a fake card was able to get away.
