Written and Directed by Ahishor Solomon, 'Johnday' is a crime thriller movie starring Naseeruddin Shah and Randeep Hooda in lead roles. The story revolves around a mysterious death of a young girl that unfolds a web of secrets and a conspiracy.
Johnday, played by Naseeruddin, is the father of a deceased young little girl and is quite simple, honest and a god-fearing loving person. On the other side, there is Gautam, played by Randeep Hooda, who is a nihilistic cop and the key player behind the tragic incident. They both get embroiled and sucked into the deep hollow that soon turns out to be something dangerous and deadly. Eventually, the thin line that separates the saint and the beast now forever stands blurred and broken.
'Johnday' is slated to release in theatres on September 13, 2013.
