Woman Calls 911 to Report Getting a Traffic Ticket

Freda Johnson, a 50-year-old woman from Boynton Beach, Florida, had been pulled over for not wearing a seat belt. She then called 9-1-1 to complain about getting a ticket.
People try a lot of things to get out of moving violations – pleading, crying, and lying tend to be popular options.
Well, one woman called 9-1-1.
Freda Johnson, a 50-year-old woman from Boynton Beach, Florida, had been pulled over on a Tuesday afternoon because an officer noticed she wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
The policeman proceeded to issue a citation and was returning to Johnson’s vehicle with the freshly printed ticket.
As the officer approached the car he saw Johnson talking on the phone.
Police dispatch soon informed him that the person Johnson was talking to was a 9-1-1 operator, and she was complaining about the violation she was receiving.
Based on the recording of the call, it appears that her primary grievance was that she lived in the neighborhood and was close to home.
The officer placed her under arrest for the misdemeanor offence of misusing the emergency system.
In his report he wrote, "I looked at the defendant and asked her if she called 911. She told me she did and when I asked her why, she told me because I was writing her tickets."
