How much would you spend for your pet's comfort during a trip that spans thousands of miles?
A couple recently hired a private jet to take their cat from Moscow to Boston, at a cost of 100 thousand dollars.
Worried about what would happen to the poor little guy flying solo in the big, cold world known as cargo, they had the jet company’s staff and crew make the arrangements and oversee the trip.
According to a Paramount Business Jets spokesperson, the company even saved the humans some cash by rerouting a plane flying nearby rather than booking a round trip.
The only small hiccup with the plan was that one of the previous passengers was a canine. Figuring that cats who take six-figure flights probably aren’t amused by cabins covered in dog hair, the company scrubbed down all of the surfaces prior to the feline’s boarding.
Once airborne the furry one reportedly napped, lounged, and enjoyed a 40 thousand foot view of Greenland.
Upon reaching Boston, US Customs met the cat onboard, gave their thumbs up, and then he was free go to home.
