What’s the worst experience you've had at work?

61-year-old woman in Japan was forced to showcase a set of bunny ears for failing to meet her sales goals. Adding to the humiliation, photos were taken of her wearing the fake ears and the pictures were used in company training programs.

The unidentified lady was employed by the cosmetics business known as Kanebo. She eventually quit her job and sued the company citing mental distress.

The rabbit ear stunt was only one example of the employer’s ways to punish her when she didn’t meet a target. Other times, she was forced to wear ridiculous costumes.

Bosses would often take photos of her in the elaborate gear and use the pictures in a slideshow presentation for training purposes. The lady brought on a lawsuit against the company, asking for roughly $33,000 to compensate for what she called mental anguish that would often result in physical illness.

The court did side with her, but only awarded the former employee a little over $2,000 for her suffering.
