Carbonized coffee is being combined with cotton and polyester, resulting in a dress sock that absorbs sweat and smells.

Coffee has long been known by many to be part magic elixir and part miracle worker.

It should come as no surprise, then, that it’s almost supernatural properties are even more versatile than ever thought.

A sock manufacturer recently discovered that it can help knock out foot odor.

The coffee being used in the odor-killing wonder has been carbonized and combined with cotton and polyester, resulting in a dress sock that absorbs sweat and smells.

The Atlas sock is also Earth-friendly as the coffee is "reclaimed from coffee roasters and shops…and is then infused into our recycled polyester yarns." The makers assure consumers that the coffee aroma has been removed.

They also note that it’s technologically engineered for maximum comfort.

This brainchild of the Ministry of Supply was introduced via a Kickstarter campaign.

People seem to want it as much as the Ministry wants to make it for them.

The original goal was 30 thousand dollars and backers have more than quadrupled that with their generosity and desire to get their feet into a pair.
