BIG BROTHER: U.S. Gov Obtained Millions of Verizon Customers Cell Phone Data

The Obama Administration is defending itself against charges that it secretly obtained the cell phone records of millions of customers via a court order. Fox News reports that government officials are refusing to confirm or deny the story because of the secrecy of government security measures. Politico, citing an unnamed official, says that the order only allows to collect metadata of calls, such as time, date, and length of calls and they are not allowed listen in on actual calls.
